Annual. An old favorite whose brilliant trumpet-shaped flowers open in late afternoon, remain open all night and usually close before noon the next day. Remains open on cloudy days. Produces colorful blooms of white, shades of red, pink and yellow. Large, bushy plants with neat, smooth leaves are excellent to use as low hedges or as temporary shrubs. Resists city smoke and grime. Especially nice for evening fragrance. 50 - 80 days to bloom. Grows best in full sun to a height of 2 - 3 feet.

Gourd Seeds

Hyacinth Bean Vine 2.00G
Annual. This robust climber has large, purple-veined leaflets and 1-inch flowers of pinkish-purple and white. Long spikes of blooms stand out from the foliage and then give way to clusters of maroon, 3 inch long seedpods. All parts of plant are edible Blooms summer to fall. Easy to grow. Train on fence or trellis. Excellent for quick cover. Nutritious and flavorful as snap bean or shelled bean. Performs best if watered and weeded all season. 40 - 50 days to bloom. Grows best in full sun to a height of ten to fifteen feet.

Annual. Compact, glossy leaved plants begin blooming while small. Vivid blossoms in shades of rose, salmon and white cover plant from summer to fall. Blooms reliably in heavy shade. Excellent container plant. Use in planters, window boxes and hanging baskets. Superb for beds in shady areas. Makes excellent winter houseplant. 55 - 70 days to bloom. Annual. Profusion of dainty, dark blue flowers cover this compact plant. Blooms continuously until frost. Most popular where cool summers prolong bloom. Half Hardy Annual. A blend of bright shades of orange, gold, yellow and primrose. Huge flowers with gracefully overlapping petals bloom from midsummer to first frost. Very effective for backgrounds.
